"Your Hand In Mine" consists of two 24-year old students from Thessaloniki (Greece). Manos plays wurlitzer piano, melodica, toy piano, ukulele, accordion and does the programming, while George plays some guitar shaped toy synth, mandolin, zither, glockenspiel and hits random objects in his rythmic kit. The project came out from members of the postrock band "Shortcat" in late 2006, giving them the opportunity to express their love to acoustic instruments, french folk songs and street musicians. With a constantly growing collection of custom, toy instruments and machines, "Your Hand In Mine" act as live-looping based duet, willing to present a new-romantic, deeply personal sense of chamber music. In the summer of 2007 they composed original music for Mikio Naruse's silent masterpiece "Every Night Dreams" which they presented live at Thessaloniki's International Film Festival in November. Their first handmade release "Your hand in mine" EP, after having defined the band's aesthetic and identity, is awaited to be followed up by "Every Night Dreams" OST official release at the end of May by "inner ear" label.

Οι Your Hand in Mine είναι δύο φοιτητές από τη Θεσσαλονίκη. Ο Μάνος Μυλωνάκης (wurlitzer πιάνο, μελόντικα, toy πιάνο, ukulele, ακορντεόν, programming) και ο Γιώργος Παπαδόπουλος (toy synth, μαντολίνο, glockenspiel, zither, rythms). Το project ξεπήδησε στα τέλη του 2006 από την παρέα των Shortcat, εκφράζοντας την αγάπη του ντουέτου για τα ακουστικά όργανα, την νορμανδική folk και τους πλανόδιους μουσικούς. Χρησιμοποιούν μια συλλογή από παιδικά, αυτοσχέδια όργανα και τεχνικές live-looping, φτιάχνοντας έντονα προσωπική μουσική δωματίου, εμπνευσμένοι από τους Explosions In The Sky ή τον Yann Tiersen. Το καλοκαίρι του 2007 συνέθεσαν πρωτότυπη μουσική για τo βουβό αριστούργημα του Mikio Naruse "Every Night Dreams" (1933) την οποία και παρουσίασαν ζωντανά στο 48ο φεστιβάλ κινηματογράφου το Νοέμβριο. Το δισκογραφικό ξεκίνημα έγινε με το ομώνυμο "Υour Ηand Ιn Μine" EP, ένας αυθόρμητος χειροποίητος πειραματισμός που επισφράγισε την αισθητική του group, ενώ η πρώτη ολοκληρωμένη δουλειά τους, το "Every Night Dreams" OST κυκλοφορεί στα τέλη Μαίου από την Inner Ear.
